Art-A-WhirlThanks to everyone for making it out to Art-A-Whirl a success this year. I received wonderful feedback on the new work, especially
the new large pieces. It seems the superhero theme reached most of you - but the paintings that I stopped in mid-process
seemed to move a number of people as well. It was really great to meet and talk with all of you. Stop by again soon and see
what I've been up to.

ChallengesWhile working on some larger canvases at the studio today I feel in love with their importance. Size, or the variety of size
I work with, creates opportunity to be challenged. A 5' x 5' canvases presents a much different obstacle than a 6-inch square
wood block. The challenge will be to go into the larger work with the same whimsical attitude that I do the smaller pieces.

Art- A- WhirlArt- A- Whirl is about two weeks away, I always love the surge of work that I am able to create as these events near. I picked
up some rejected paint from the harware store and will give the studio walls a fresh coat in the next couple of days. Today
I'm just gallery sitting at Rosalux waiting for the line at the Coffee Gallery to go down so I can get some lunch.
